The program emphasizes global awareness, foreign language proficiency, multiculturalism and study abroad.

In an increasingly more complex and integrated world, global education is becoming an important advantage for students entering the work force and for students wishing to advance in their current positions.

KCC offers an Associate in Global and International Studies degree. The sequence of classes recommended for full-time students seeking the degree follows.

Associate in Global and International Studies Degree

KCC’s Associate in Global and International Studies degree includes three main areas of emphasis, including foreign language, global awareness and travel abroad. The International Studies degree requires a minimum of 60 credit hours of coursework focusing on global topics and multicultural issues. Students earning an Associate in International Studies degree will also meet the criteria for an Associate in Arts degree.
