Kellogg Community College Testing & Assessment Center policies are as follows:
Identification
Government-issued photo identification such as a driver’s license, passport, military ID or KCC student ID is required for testing at the Testing & Assessment Center. Certain specialized testing programs have additional ID requirements.
Retesting
Students must wait a full 24 hours from the time they finish a test, to retake the same section of a test. A $5.00 fee per test section is required.
Cell Phones and Other Mobile Devices
Cellular phone or mobile devices disturb other examinees and should not be brought to the testing center. The use of a cellular phone or mobile device during a test is strictly prohibited and will be considered cheating.
Lockers
Small lockers are available in the Testing Center for storing personal items during your testing time. Use of these lockers is subject to the main campus locker use policy found in the KCC Handbook.
Children at the Testing Center
There are no facilities for childcare at the Testing Center, and children are not allowed in the testing rooms. College policy prohibits leaving children unattended in any campus building.
Special Accommodations
If you require special accommodations for a KCC test, contact the Center for Student Success at 269-965-4150. For national testing programs, follow the directions provided in their literature. Please contact us if you do not have this information. We cannot provide special accommodations without proper documentation.
Cheating
Test center closely monitors testing rooms for irregularities. If irregularities are noted, a report will be submitted, and the student dismissed.
